GTAQNT is the State industry body set up to represent 32 members located throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.
Our primary role is to represent our members interests to ensure that GTO's can continue to grow employment numbers in both metropolitan and regional areas.
Other activities that are co-ordinated through GTAQNT are co-ordinating marketing education programs for employers and job seekers, customer service activities such as career information through our freecall number 1800 819 747.
Group Training Organisations employ Apprentices and Trainees in virtually every officially registered Apprenticeship and Traineeship and each year help thousands of young people to build the foundations for life-long careers.
Group Training Organisations are the legal employers of apprentices and trainees. They carry the risks and obligations of employment and, at the same time, manage training requirements necessary for apprentices and trainees to achieve nationally recognised qualifications.
